The Finep Innovation Award, the most traditional national award dedicated to initiatives that transform strategic sectors of the Brazilian economy, is back after a 10-year hiatus
Of a universe of three thousand projects in the reimbursable and non-reimbursable categories, contracted between January 2023 and December 2024, one hundred and fifteen projects from across the country are competing in areas such as sustainable agribusiness, bioeconomy, healthcare, defense, digital transformation, deep tech startups, innovation ecosystems, and much more. The first stage will be in Rio de Janeiro on September 11th, bringing together authorities and finalists from the Southeast region. The following regional stages will take place in Manaus, Brasília, Florianópolis, and Recife. Nintx is among the three finalists for the Finep Innovation Award 2025, Southeast Regional Stage, in the Deep Tech Startups category, along with brain4care and Biotimize, which is a great honor for us. The regional winners will compete for the national prize in each category, which will be awarded between November and December 2025, at the Palácio do Planalto, in Brasília.
