This was a result of a groundbreaking collaboration between Nintx and the Lactalis Group, the world's largest dairy company

Nintx leverages cutting-edge proprietary technologies like xGIbiomics® to develop multi-target therapies, which can modulate targets directly and indirectly via modulation of the gut microbiome. This innovative technology, mirroring the human gastrointestinal system, enables the development of our own R&D programs and fosters scientific collaborations to explore the impact of food, ingredients, and molecular entities on the human gut microbiota. Through Nintx’s advanced xGIbiomics® platforms (mini- and full-scale), the work developed by Nintx and Lactalis demonstrated that lactose promotes enhanced production of short-chain fatty acids and the growth of beneficial bacteria like Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. This research expands the nutritional value of dairy products. Beyond such important findings, our xGIbiomics® technology has proven to be a pivotal tool for the validation of scientific hypotheses, emphasizing its significance in gut microbiota research.
